7 time RISE grant award winner and research assistant Evelyn Todd graduates this evening with her MBA from PVAMU. She has worked for the Digital PV Panther Project since returning to “The Hill” to attend graduate school, and she has worked on numerous historic preservation projects over the past few years. In fact, she recently published several blog posts on her internship at the Texas Historical Commission, her trip to Africa, and her extensive collaborative archival preservation projects, the Texas Black Cooperative Extension & Home Demonstration Collection. Join me in congratulating Evelyn on all her accomplishments on this day of graduate commencement at PVAMU!

The Association for Gravestone Studies Board of Trustees is requesting your help. The AGS website has served us well, but it needs some updates to better support you, our members and friends. The Board of Trustees wants to ensure that the refreshed website provides relevant and useful content for those interested in the study and preservation of gravestones and cemeteries.

We have created the following questionnaire to learn more about you and what you would like from the AGS website. You may remain completely anonymous or provide us with follow-up contact information - that's up to you. Helpful tip - simply put in your favorite cemetery's address for your location to remain anonymous. Rest assured, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Click here to access the survey

Thank you for your assistance as we begin this project to reposition AGS at the forefront of gravestone and cemetery study and preservation.
