This was the last school built in Winegar and completed in 1939. It was used as a school until the area towns consolidated and sent kids to North Lakeland School in January 1970. The daily schedule is from 1952, and an order for more record books is from 1953.

This is a photo of the first Winegar School - the second school built in town. Also attached is a record of what was accomplished during the 1946-1947 school year. Do you know anyone who would have attended during that time?

Our last official day open for the summer is tomorrow, September 4, 2026. Our building is quite chilly during the winter, however if you would like to schedule a private tour, we will do our best to accommodate through the fall. Look for us to be open again weekly next summer!
