Start of a new Sharp-tail piece. 24x30 oil. I love sketching in my canvases with just brush and thinned paint, keeps things more spontaneous. Look closely and you can see I changed the position of the dog.

"T-Minus 1 Til Buck-off" 24x36, oil on canvas. I've been messing with this painting for some time. I finally decided it needed more tension so I repainted the bear to have her rearing up and added a cub behind her to make the situation even more dangerous for the rider.

"Hey, Watch Your Backcast" 16x20, oil on canvas. Private collection. Years ago I was fishing the Firehole in YNP when I glanced behind me and a cow bison with a calf was right behind me. I could have easily hit her with my backcast. Some how the bison turned into a moose for this painting. Artistic licensešŸ˜‰
