If you're an early riser, look for Saturn and Mars shining dimly in the east!

-Cool events: The Eta Aquarids meteor shower (from Halley's Comet) peaks early on May 6th, but the bright moonlight may interfere with easy viewing!

If you missed the peak of the Lyrids Meteor Shower early this morning, don’t worry— the universe is still celebrating!

While the “peak” has passed, the Lyrids remain active through the end of April!

🔭 Tonight‘s Outlook: you can still spot several meteors per hour as earth continues to cruise the debris of Comet Thatcher.

🌙 Bonus: the moon sets early again tonight, leaving us with beautifully dark skies(and hopefully no clouds!).

🔦 EKSC Tip: give your eyes 20 minutes to adjust to the dark and look toward the constellation Lyra in the northeastern sky after midnight.

💫 Visit the EKSC this Saturday @ 1:00 pm to learn more about this celestial event during our live Star-talk!!

Happy viewing!!
