Silver Circle is an award-winning downtown Putnam CT gallery since 2008 featuring local visual artists, fine art in many mediums in a range of prices/styles, exhibiting opportunities, classes & workshops, & collaborative creative community events. sual artists and to enhance the abundant creative network in NECT. Our beautiful art gallery compliments our artist's varied work. Silver Circle is a professional launching pad for local artists and fosters art appreciation through rotating art displays from over 50 local artists, gallery talks and demonstrations, and an arts education and therapeutic arts program. The bright, contemporary art gallery offers rotating displays by our art collective members, with a wide variety of quality fine art in a broad price range and style. We also have sculpture, art glass, and assemblage. There is a beautiful boutique area with handcrafted jewelry, textiles, pottery, and gifts by local and regional artisans.

Stop by and experience the work of landscape painter Trish Hurley, now on display at Silver Circle Gallery.

“Trish Hurley’s passion for the outdoors and curiosity in nature has always been her artistic inspiration. She is best known for her landscape paintings, from 5”x5” plein-air sketches, done out in the elements with palette knife or her 5’x5’ bright, loosely representational larger paintings done with big brushes in the studio.

She currently lives in Wakefield, RI and teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Art at CCRI and teaches a variety of workshops at Snow Farm in Williamsburg MA.

Trish’s artwork can be seen at galleries throughout the United States, primarily in MA, NY, NJ, Washington DC and Chicago.”

While we had to reschedule Steve’s opening reception from February 7 to February 28 due to weather, his beautiful exhibit is now up and ready to be enjoyed—with weekend viewing hours available.

These paintings are quietly powerful, full of depth, warmth, and subtle detail that truly must be seen in person. Photos offer only a glimpse and don’t capture the full experience.
