"Bashful" an 11"x14" original oil on panel bord. My grandson Grayson. I haven't painting much of anything for a while. I am trying to get myself back into the mood with this painting. Painting like music is a form of self-expression, it makes you feel things. I feel like that I have been check out for a long while.

"Hide and Seek" a 20"x16" original oil on canvas. She is my new muse, my brother's granddaughter. I have painted her before. I couldn't get this one done in time for the state fair art show. but I have 2 others in there for this year. I did pretty good last year, this year, I hope so, we will see.

"Island Time" a 36"x24" original oil on canvas. This was a longtime creation; I had this idea. I didn't know what it was supposed to look like. It was straight out of my fantasy, a total invention. But it is a place I would like to go. In a way
I guess I did.

"The Glade" A 20"x16" original oil on canvas. that I just completed it kind of a in the shadow perspective, before I even completed this one, I had started a tropical sea scape with the same perspective. I tend to go into cycles not necessarily subjects but perspective. or at least that how I see it.

"Aloha" an original oil on canvas, that I painted back in 2012. but I had recently touch it so that the color work more hormonally. Such and improvement it not even the same painting. And yes, this one Sue hid in the closet. I love the afternoon light.

"Crossing the Sol Duc" 20"x36" original oil on canvas. It's a must hike in the Olympic national park, and a must painting. I like doing these big ones; they take a little while though.

"Through the Narrows" A 24"x30" original oil on canvas. Another painting in Zions national park. And another unbelievable landscape, I don't think I can paint a normal landscape anymore. Like why?

"Cloth Dippers" a 30"x24"orginial oil. I don't remember when,
I had painted this, but it was way back when my two babies were in dippers. But the old painting screams to be touch up. Modernized. with some more believable colors. So, I did.
Times back then were simpler noise, poorer, hectic and much smellier. But even with all of that, I miss it.

"Narrows in Zion" a 24"x48" original oil. this place is breath taking and almost imposable to paint. It is the 4th in a series of this national park, and a lot more to come. I have had this one in the gallery, and had people say "this make them cloister phobic. it is awful tall.

"Tourist in Zion's" 24"x30" original oil on canvas. I am painting some red rock country for a while. Much more to come, my trip to Utah has really inspired me to paint this beautiful country. there is a lot of knife work with impasto here in these kinds of painting, loads of color and light and grandkids too.
