A little something we were playing around with. We're always looking at more options to spread the word around. It's weird, but still pretty cool.

If you were looking forward to seeing us at the Morgan Log House this weekend, we regret to announce that the expected rain isn’t conducive to our gathering. So, let’s embrace the change and plan for our rain date on August 1st. We look forward to sharing that day with you!

In the meantime, if you’re ready to embark on an exciting adventure with our Privateering family in celebration of the 250th semisesquicentennial, we invite you to explore our various unique and exciting volunteer opportunities to choose from!

For the upcoming 250th events, we aim to explore the various aspects of the privateering industry during the 18th century. This includes examining the roles of shipowners and captains, along with their wives as business partners, as well as the crews, passengers, and merchants involved in buying and selling goods. We will also consider the Courts of Admiralty, individuals of questionable character, tavern livelihoods, assigned military and militia units, press gangs, and much more. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive historical and social perspective on the entire industry, allowing us to learn and teach more about this fascinating topic!

We are sorry to announce that because of the weather on Saturday we will be postponing Military Might to Saturday, Aug 1st. We can't wait to see you in August and stay dry and safe this weekend.

Yes, it's been a minute since we've said anything. There are some things in play and announcements will be made soon. Suffice to say, this year will be far more limited than the past few years as we do not have the staff to do much of anything anymore. More will be shared in the coming days. Right now all plans are on pause.

So, should you want us to be at your event, email us (not DM) at [email protected] with ALL the pertinent information and we shall get back to you as soon as humanly possible. Be sure to include dates, times, location, type of event, and what you're looking for.

Do NOT expect full museum setups from us this year as we do not have the staff... For example: more than one historical interpreter, or trained volunteers. This may change, but this is where we are currently.
