Field Trip!

The History Center hosted a field trip for the Inman School second graders. Two busloads of students along with teachers and volunteers spent the morning of September 11th learning about the Montgomery County History Center. They even spent time in an original one-room country school.

Wow! What a day. We had eight volunteers from Interstate Bank show up to help at the History Center. They made the dust fly and the floors shine. More importantly they donated their time to the help the community.
Interstate Bank closed their offices to help out in the community. It was no small thing. As part of a nationwide commitment Interstate donated 11,410 volunteer hours. That equates to monetarily $382,120.
Besides everyone had a fun time.
Thank You!!!
