Aliveo Military Museum

Aliveo Military Museum It is an important tool to teach our nations military history to our youth and the public at large. We even have a section on the Zulu / British War.

Our mission is to educate the public, especially the youth, about military history through the protection, preservation, and presentation of military artifacts. MISSION: Our Mission is to educate the public, especially the youth, of military history through the protection, preservation, and presentation of military artifacts. For as long as human history has existed an essential part of society ha

DONATION OF ARTIFACTS: If your military memories are packed away, taking up storage space where no one else can appreciate their historical value, consider donating them to the musuem. We are continuously looking for military related artifacts of any size, shape, or description. Not only will we preserve your artifacts, you could receive a tax deduction for your contribution. The Aliveo Military Museum has a significant collection of military memorabilia such as military pistols, rifles, edged weapons, uniforms, insignia, badges, flags, and equipment. The collections includes relics and artifacts from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War to the current Middle-East Wars. Stop in and see us! Free Admission.

The Aliveo Museum just received a donation of this Cobra helicopter. What makes this helicopter so interesting is it was made in Vietnam and it is also made out of wood from Vietnam. This Cobra helicopter was used extensively during our involvement in Vietnam. The Bell AH-1 Cobra is a single-engined attack helicopter the AH-1 is also referred to as the HueyCobra or Snake. For several decades, the AH-1 formed the core of the US Army's attack helicopter fleet, seeing combat in Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, and Iraq. The Cobra was progressively replaced by the newer and more capable Boeing AH-64 Apache during the 1990s. Stop into the museum and take a look at the Cobra and all the other items we have on display.

Thanks to the MN ANG 934th Airlift Wing for allowing us to use their display for a few weeks

The 934th Airlift Wing, Minnesota's only Air Force Reserve unit and home of the Global Vikings, is located on the north side of the MSP Airport.

The Air Force Reserve's airport presence dates back to 1948, and we have flown the F-51, F-80, C-119, and currently the C-130. We have eight assigned C-130 H3 Hercules transport aircraft, which facilitate the wing's mission of providing worldwide deployment of people, cargo, and services to support the mission of the United States Air Force.

MISSION:
Citizen Airmen providing world-wide Tactical Airlift and Combat Support

The GI Foot Locker
Military Footlockers are used as storage boxes where the soldier can keep their belonging. The term "footlocker" came into being as the locker was positioned at the foot of their bed. We have assembled a display in this footlocker showing some of the personal items the soldier would have in their locker.
