The grand opening at the Redwood County Museum Thursday night was a success. We had a great crowd and Adrian Lee was there to discuss his paranormal exhibit. Everyone got to see the ax from the Kleeman Ax murders and other weapons of crime. It was a fascinating experience. Thank you to all those who attended this event. This exhibit will be on display all season so be sure to tell your family and friends to come out to see us this summer!

"Art Night at the Museum" was presented by artists from the Lower Sioux, displaying their beautiful works. Art shows and exhibits are outlets for Lower Sioux artists to express and share their artistic skills and techniques. The artists exhibited star quilting, some examples of Dakota cradleboards, pottery, beadwork, quillwork, and hide and leather work. All the pieces were so beautiful and took many hours to complete. Thank you to all those who attended this great cultural event!

"Ghosts & Hauntings" was the 2nd event this week at the Redwood County Museum. Seating was limited so Dr. Lee will be back next Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7 pm. Admission is $5.00. It was an amazing presentation with both video evidence and audio recordings, which documented his findings at the museum site in May. You'll leave with chills running down your spine. Dr. Lee's books will be available for purchase. Check out our website for upcoming events!
