The Depot Gallery & Bookstore is stocked with works by local authors, illustrators, and poets right here in our community. It’s a wonderful place to discover your next favorite book and support a local artist at the same time.

Store hours: Friday–Sunday, 12–5pm

And we have something exciting coming up — BOOK FEST on June 6th! Join us for a celebration of local literature featuring 30+ authors, book chats, and so much more. Whether you’re a lifelong reader or just looking for something fun to do, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Sierra Arts Book Fest on June 6th in Sparks as we celebrate Northern Nevada’s incredible local literary and arts community!

Come meet more than two dozen local authors, illustrators, poets, and artists, discover new books and artwork, and connect with the creative voices that make our region so special.

Whether you’re an avid reader, an art lover, or simply looking for a fun local event, this is a wonderful opportunity to support and celebrate Northern Nevada talent.

SUNDAY, MAY 3rd • Sierra Arts Literary Community Meeting
We will be gathering for our Annual Ice Cream Social, generously hosted by our amazing SALC Planning Committee. Along with enjoying some ice cream, we'll have a relaxed "get to know you" literary activity.

Please come prepared to share one of your most favorite books. It can be fiction, nonfiction, or poetry. Each person will have about 1-2 minutes to tell the group why their selection is especially meaningful to them.

Come for the conversation, stay for the community... and ice cream! 🍨
