My heart is heavy. Our sweet boy, Choco, made his transition on February 2nd after declining rapidly at the beginning of the year. Until this week, I’ve not had the energy to write to you as I navigate this deep river of grief.

We are fully into my most favorite time of the year! Spring is my season and I’m over the moon watching my garden wake up again. I see the beautiful colorful flower buds and blooms, and all the sprouting vibrant green leaves all around our neighborhood, wherever I drive around town, and in my own garden sanctuary. Spring is like a deep inhale of fresh air and a promise of warmer days to come.
