Abdulrahman Naanseh work reimagines Arabic calligraphy. Rooted in classical traditions passed down by his father, a self-taught calligrapher, Naanseh’s evolving practice bridges the literary, linguistic, and visual, exploring the complex relationships between experience, identity, and ideas of home.

Tephra ICA at Signature, located at the Signature apartment building (11850 Freedom Dr, Reston, VA). Visitors are welcome Wednesday–Saturday, 11am–5pm. Free and open to the public.

Opens tomorrow — Rain or Shine ☀️🌧️ Join us this weekend for two days of art, performances, live demonstrations, family activities, and one-of-a-kind work from more than 200 contemporary artists from across the country.

The Tephra ICA Arts Festival is free to explore and open to everyone. Bring your friends, bring your family, and spend the weekend in the heart of Reston. 🎨✨

🚗 Free garage parking is available throughout Festival weekend at Reston Town Center.
🚆 Taking Metro? Ride the Silver Line to Reston Town Center Station and walk over or hop on the Link RTC shuttle.
