Teton Flood Museum

Teton Flood Museum June 5, 1976-Teton Dam broke causing billions of gallons of water to sweep across South Eastern Idah The museum is owned by the City of Rexburg.

The Teton Flood Museum is located in the basement of the historic Rexburg Tabernacle. Our signature exhibit is the Teton Flood Exhibit which includes a film about the breaking of the Teton Dam in 1976. Other exhibits include Rexburg Heritage and our Children's Museum which is changed on a monthly basis with interactive activities for children and their parents. Come discover the devastation, restoration, and history of our corner of South Eastern Idaho.
