Due to the passing of Steve Stevenson and the related life changes for Carol, the Town of Stevenson Museum most unfortunately has permanently closed.
Thank you to those who visited us over the past years and many who came as strangers but left as friends.

There is so much music in our hills this weekend!

The Boardinghouse Antiques summer concert, Wine down Fridays at Wild Hills winery, and Driftless Music Garden-Boogiedown Festival. Our fellow tourism partners are all working hard to make your time in Richland County amazing.

Farming. Has any industry seen more changes than farming?

The early hunters & gatherers used rudimentary tools and then farming greatly evolved during the Industrial Revolution with many inventions. In the last 100 years, we have seen so many changes in farming in the Driftless area from fields of wheat in the 1870s to the rise of dairy farming and cheese factories.

Now, agriculture has been forced to adapt to modern practices and very technical equipment.

We have many of the items used throughout the years in farming. Many of the items have been restored to their former glory. Come hear the stories and understand the stories behind the displays.
