👁️ We got a sneak peak at the new VMFA exhibition, India's Great Mughals: Art, Opulence, and Power, now on view through August 23rd, celebrates the glorious artistic achievements and grandeur of one of history's great empires.

👉 India's Great Mughals includes 200 sumptuous objects—intricate paintings and manuscripts, lavish textiles, architectural elements, metalwork, furniture, arms and armor, dazzling precious stones, and more.

India's Great Mughals: Art, Power, and Opulence is organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum. The coordinating curator for VMFA is Dr. John Henry Rice, E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Curator of South Asian and Islamic Art.

Rachel joined CultureWorks in 2026 as our new Office Assistant. With over 10 years of experience in arts administration, event planning, and production management in Richmond and beyond, Rachel is dedicated to organizing systems and resources that inform, empower, and engage. Away from the desk, she is a professional stage and voice actor, published author, and avid outdoor adventurer. She believes strongly in audienceship as an artform of its own and hopes to see you at any of the incredible events Richmond and the Tri-Cities have to offer.

Community Engagement Strategist Calie Bain got a chance to catch WOLF PLAY now playing at and chat with KP Longoria, 5th Wall’s Artistic Director.

🐺 WOLF PLAY is an endearing, awe-inspiring play featuring puppetry, balloons, and pro-wrestling!

✨ Pro Tip: doors open an hour before the show, and their in-house bar is the perfect spot to grab a drink with friends before the show!

🎟️ WOLF PLAY runs through May 9th and tickets are going quickly—you don’t want to miss this one!
