I won’t be participating in this year’s RVA Clay Tour on June 6 as I take some time to focus on my health and the slower pace it requires right now.

I’m grateful for all of the support, encouragement, and kindness this community continues to show my work. While my studio will be quiet for the tour, I hope to begin sharing pieces directly again as health allows in the months ahead.

Wishing everyone a beautiful tour weekend.

Fresh from the studio — a table full of work waiting for the kiln. These pieces are still in their quiet stage: soft surfaces, loose brushwork, and the anticipation of fire. What you see here will shift, deepen, and settle into itself after firing — color, texture, and form all finding their final voice.

This new collection will be available during the RVA Clay Tour, June 6 & 7. I hope to see you there!

Before and after — line, surface, memory.

Sanggam / Mishima: a quiet conversation carried through centuries, carved into clay and held in place.

More to come once fire and glaze have had their say.

First pieces of the year; light returns to the wheel. I’m back in the studio and grateful for it.

Six hand-thrown plates with celadon, cobalt, and iron — loose brushwork, simple forms, made to be used.
