We are gearing up for this years Jubilation in June weekend and its going to be a jampacked!! Desiree Roots and Friends kicks off the weekend FRIDAY with a performance on the Dell stage at 8PM, SATURDAY you can watch an afternoon showing of the "Rebel" performed by our very own Journey Program students on the Pine Camp stage at 2PM, and then head to the Dell stage at 8PM for an evening jamming out with Legacy Band, and end the weekend SUNDAY at Intermediate Terminal for the Jubilation in June 20203 Festival featuring Bilal!

This weekend is going to be a blast and we hope you can join us!

Calling all teen thespians!

We still have space available in both our "Page to Stage" Summer Theater Intensive where budding actors and actresses will learn the ins and outs of putting on a full scale theater production-both on the stage and behind the scenes-through collaboratively building every aspect of the show from the sets and costumes to the staging and dance and our "Playwright Training Camp" where novice writers will learn the basics of playwriting from script format, character creation and development and story structure that will help develop their skills as playwright's through a combination of exercises, writing prompts and challenges and will culminate in a closing theater production!

The Trust for Public Land just released their ParkScore rating; a ranking of the most 100 populous U.S. cities and their parks and Richmond landed at spot THIRTY NINE!!! From 80% of residents living within a 10-minute walk to having spaces that are accessible for all income levels, RVA parks are the best around...and that's not just us talking!

And we are excited that the Pine Camp Forest is among one of the spots that makes RVA a great place for parks'n!

We are just one day away from the 4th Annual 60 Second Film Fest and were counting down to the big day with a few films that didn't make the final cut but were too good not to share!

Today's movie is entitled Cut off in Mid Sentence.

The 4th Annual 60 Second Film Fest will be Saturday May 13 from 7-9PM!

Over the weekend our Art Specialist Emily Dandridge hung out with our friends from Richmond Performing Arts Alliance for a Parking Lot Party! Kids enjoyed making lion’s mane headbands and mermaid crowns!

We always have such a blast with our RPAA family and can't wait to do it again!
