Bond Millen Gallery

Bond Millen Gallery An art gallery and art advisory based in Richmond, Virginia known for thoughtfully curating and exhibiting a broad range of contemporary art.

Established in 1999, the Page Bond Gallery exhibits a broad range of contemporary art in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and ceramics. The Page Bond Gallery is committed to extending an awareness of and appreciation for contemporary art. Embracing the diversity in contemporary art, the gallery’s exhibitions and artists purposefully address a wide range

of stylistic and contextual concerns. The gallery exhibits and champions artists with regional, national, and international reputations. The Richmond art community, anchored by the widely respected Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts, is exceptionally dynamic and vibrant. Its numerous galleries, artist spaces, and museums provide a stimulating atmosphere for the development and exhibition of innovative contemporary art. The gallery’s ongoing exhibition program supports established gallery artists while also looking beyond its walls to discover and cultivate emerging talent regionally and from around the globe. The Page Bond Gallery presents works by selected internationally recognized artists including Lucien Freud, Ellsworth Kelly, Ryan McGinness, Donald Sultan, and Cy Twombly. The Gallery also exhibits the work of such highly regarded regional artists as Holly Morrison, Tanja Softic, and William Wylie, professors of art at Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Richmond, and the University of Virginia, respectively; and advances the careers of emerging artists, particularly focusing on graduates of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts. The Page Bond Gallery provides artwork to new and established collectors, museums, public and private corporations, and non-profit organizations. The Gallery’s mission is to maintain the highest level of professionalism while offering accessibility and individual attention for both collector and artist. The largest of the contemporary galleries in Richmond, Virginia, Page Bond Gallery provides more that 3600 square feet of interior space. The building dates from the 1940's and was used as a garage before the current refurbishment. The Gallery was designed by Sanford Bond, of 3 North Architects, based in Richmond and San Francisco. The building includes four exhibition spaces, and substantial storage. The North gallery provides the principal display area for Page Bond Gallery's expanding program of significant exhibitions. Three smaller galleries, the West gallery, the Library and the Hall gallery feature an innovative new program of exhibitions. Additionally, there are frequent artist talks, educational presentations and lectures.
