Aaron King Studios was formed out of a love for all things creative, and with over 30 years’ experience in Architectural and Electrical
Design, Aaron has an appreciation for, and the ability to create, pieces that reflect a love for art and a respect for function. Aaron began his pursuit of art through painting, working in oils. With this love for art and the creative process, and experience in lighting design, it is easy to understand his interest in three dimensional art involving light and reflection. “Light is arguably the most important element or force known to man; we couldn’t begin to imagine what there would be without it. In the story of creation, it is the first thing ever mentioned as “good!” …I’ve still not determined whether my fascination with lamps is a celebration of art by the use of light, or a celebration of light by the use of art. But then we know that art, visual art, doesn’t exist without light.”
Each functional art piece is handcrafted one at a time by Aaron King himself in his studio located outside Brandon, Mississippi, assuring the customer they will own a truly unique, one of a kind item. Focusing on quality, not quantity, each piece will have its own identity and character, and will add that certain je ne sais quoi to your space. Aaron welcomes commissioned work and will be happy to create your custom piece in the genre of your choosing, ranging from Arts & Crafts to Art Nouveau, Contemporary to Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern to Rustic. Aaron King Studios is also happy to work with Interior Decorators and Designers, Architects, and all other design professionals to produce that special piece for their clients, or to bring their design concepts to life.
