Donald R Lobaugh Military Museum and Rimersburg Veterans Memorial Park

The Rimersburg Veterans Memorial Park and Museum Board of Directors is collecting items from the public that will be donated to the Mechling-Shakely Veterans Center in Cowansville in honor of America's 250th celebration. Items that they are in need of are the following: drink mixes (Kool Aid, etc., with or without sugar), tuna, cans of corned beef hash, paper towels, cooking spray (Pam, etc.), egg noodles, garbage bags (11/12 gal., 33 gal., 55 gal.), Lestoil (or other liquid cleaners like it), and honey.

The museum will be open from 1:00 - 4:00p.m. on Monday, May 25 for those who would like to drop off donations. The museum will also be open from noon to 1:00 every Saturday in June for collection. If you would like to donate but can't get to the museum on those days and times, call Carol at 724-526-3768 to make other arrangements.

Come to the park on Saturday March 21st @ 1 pm to hear a reading of the Easter Story by Gary Henry. Kids 12 and under will get a free Easter treat.
