A rare sight of the Harry S and the hopper dredge Stuyvesant getting some rare quality time together in Mobile, AL in the spring of 2025! The Stuyvesant was receiving some well-deserved maintenance while the Harry S deepened the berths for the Port of Mobile - one of the fastest growing container ports in the country!

We’re excited to introduce Andrew Lammon and Andrew Ekren in our next Intern Spotlight. Out in the field, they’re gaining hands-on experience and making a meaningful impact while bringing their classroom learning to life. We’re proud to have them as part of our intern program.

Robert Edwards submitted this great shot of a fleet of Dutra assets working just beyond the The Port Chicago Memorial, which commemorates the loss of 320 men. On July 17, 1944, two ships loading ammunition for Pacific troops exploded, resulting in the worst home front disaster of WWII. Historical events like these remind us why a strong commitment to safety is a non-negotiable.

Dutra's tug Sarah Reed pushes a loaded barge through the San Francisco Bay with the city skyline prominently in the background. Many people the world over would associate the Bay with advanced technology and other white collar business; in actuality; the San Francisco Bay Area is home to five seaports that serve as a critical gateway between Northern California and the global supply chain.

Congratulations to Stanley James Piedra, winner of our May Photo Contest!

Captured on the final day of drydock, this incredible shot shows the crew taking a well-earned moment to document the work and progress on the mighty Stuyvesant.

On May 26, she splashed and set out for her next project, another milestone worth celebrating.

Great photo, Stanley. Thank you for capturing this moment so well!
