I have a vision for Highland Park Elementary. We are a school that strives to excel at everything we do. With this page, parents, teachers, and students will be able to directly connect to view recent artwork, learn about studies we are practicing in art class, find out about upcoming events as well as opportunities for art contests, and finally become more aware of art education. One of my favorite parts of our exhibit was something no one could see. Some lucky students had an opportunity to create their own dinosaur sound while in art class. I used Adobe Audition to manipulate their voices to pitch them down and add echo. Then I layered them into forest sounds. If you would like to hear what it sounds like, click the link below. So some of the 5th graders wrote descriptive prompts for dinosaur creations which I entered into Sora A.I.. From these creations, students traced or handdrew their dinosaurs. It was a neat experience.
