You can come visit us in Robertsdale this Saturday, and all the Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Fill your day in town between our museum and the friendsoftheebt Museum down the street.

November usually means the end of our operating season, but this year we have some additional hours. We will be open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the following Saturdays:

November 29
December 6
December 13
December 20

So come visit us those days, and then take in the East Broad Top Railroad’s Christmas in Coal Country event that evening for a complete day of Broad Top history and family fun.

We have a few things to announce.

On Saturday, September 20th, we will be participating in Huntingdon County Free Museum Day, along with several other museums around the county. Our $5 admission won’t apply that day, although we would appreciate any donations to better your next experience with.

We will be open some additional hours the first weekend in October. Friday the 3rd we will be open 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and we will be open that Sunday the 5th 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Come join us in sharing the history of the Broad Top coal field and its people.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Robertsdale-Wood Heritage Day. We enjoy being an active participant in the community, along with our partners at the RW&BT Fire Co., the FEBT, and the EBT Foundation. Here is a recap in case you weren’t able to join us.
