The Oxford Gallery, which has been Rochester's preeminent fine art gallery for over 65 years, will be closing its doors later this year. Our final theme exhibit, The Faces and Facets of Freedom, showing through June 13, features work by over 30 artists. Please join us for a reception with the artists on Saturday, May 16, 5:30-7:30 pm. We were saddened to learn of the recent passing of award-winning Buffalo artist Walter Garver. Walter had been with the Gallery over 25 years. His striking, sometimes haunting, realist paintings are in museum collections such as the Arnot Museum, the Butler Institute, and Burchfield Penney Art Center. We will miss him.
