Friends, Big Picture Rochester, Ken Sato, is pushing the new idea for the Midtown Parcel 5. Ken and the team want to create a center of the activity in the heart of the city. This shared open space with a small business core will revitalize downtown Rochester. Please visit www.thisisnotapark.com and add your name on the proposal.

Supporters call their plan "Rochester Visionary Square" and say it's about more than open space.

Please stop by Guggenheim between Feb to May. They will hold an big exhibition of Gutai, the most well known Japanese Artist group. There will be some art pieces of my art menter's, Shimamoto Shozo, too. I am very exciting.

During the exhibition, Miyuki Nishizawa, my friend & his student will have an performance in Guggenheim as well. I will be there to help her.

In February 2013, the Guggenheim Museum will open the first U.S. museum retrospective exhibition ever devoted to Gutai, the most influential artists collective and artistic movement in postwar Japan and among the most important international avant-garde movements of the 1950s and ‘60s.

This is my next project! I want to light up a panorama picture at Sibley Building Showcases. The goal is that to create a space where people can feel free to walk and hang out. Something I am dreaming is that make a walking path. You come to East End and brink with your partner. And after drink you walk to see the picture. Instead of just moving from your home door to a restaurant door by a car, you enjoy walking on the streets and talk. I think that is a date.
