We are incredibly honored to announce that we have acquired the collection of renowned maritime historian and author Dr. Louis Arthur Norton, which we will be offering for sale.

This is a truly significant body of his personal research materials, art, and artifacts, and we feel privileged to have the opportunity to share it with collectors, museums, historians, researchers and all those with a passion for maritime history.

Norton devoted much of his life to documenting, preserving and exploring the stories of the sea. The materials he assembled reflect that extraordinary dedication and provide a remarkable window into maritime history—offering an opportunity not only to collect, but also to study, preserve and carry these stories forward.

We’ll be sharing more details, photographs, and highlights from The Dr. Louis Arthur Norton Collection in the coming days.
