Local artists provide easy step-by-step instructions, perfect for ALL levels of art enthusiasts! Bring your own wine, beer, and snacks, and join us for a FUN afternoon or evening and take home your own personal masterpiece! We supply the canvas, paints, etc to help create your work of art. The cost is $30 per painter and that cost includes a premium 16x20 stretched canvas, and all of your painting
supplies! You start with a completely BLANK canvas! One thing that sets our studio apart from the rest, is we don't use stencils! We want to teach YOU how to paint, therefore we show you how to create the shapes using easy step-by-step instructions. For 'nervous' painters, we will help with extra guidance in drawing on your shapes if you want :) Our instructors are professional artists and are here to help share their knowledge and painting how-tos so everyone can release their inner artists. Kacie "KC/DC" Mahlmann has had professional work featured in publications such as Texas Monthly Magazine, Scarlet Pink Magazine, Cactus Creek Daily, as well as created custom artwork for local businesses and local fishing tournaments. Kacie followed her mother's artists footprints in pursuing a career in art. She and her mom opened their shop 'Rowdy Maui' in 2006 and continue to fill it with handmade and locally made art, home decor, clothing & more. Kacie's main subject is marine life, her love of fishing is reflected in her vibrant and whimsical acrylic paintings. Kacie creates all of the art used at the Drunken Mermaid, so everything you paint with us is straight from the artist herself. We're available for private parties too!
