The Enslaved in Rocky Hill: Cloe Prut was enslaved by the first minister of Stepney Parish, now known as the Rocky Hill Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. She was freed by his second wife Katherine and then lived in Wethersfield. Yeah, that happened. The final Witness Stones educational seminar will be held this Sunday the 15th at the church basement, Chapin Hall, at 11:30. We will learn more about Cloe. Until then.
