“New artwork has been added to downtown Rocky Mount, at the corner of SE Main Street and Marigold Street, highlighting our community’s vibrant music history. The new mural depicts seven subjects, all of whom have been inducted into the Twin County Hall of Fame.

A special musical event will be held at the mural on Thursday, May 23 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. to celebrate its completion and to showcase other positive work in downtown Rocky Mount…”

We pay tribute to our friend, fellow TC Hall of Fame inductee and board member. “Only You” could make someone’s day when stepping off the train at the RMT train station with your wonderful harmonious songs and stories. Milton will be missed.

It’s a sad day in Edgecombe County and the music world. Our good friend and Edgecombe County’s own “The Golden Platter” - Milton Russell Bullock - passed away this afternoon after a courageous battle against cancer.
He was a great friend to all who knew him and even better role model for the youth that he mentored under his non-profit - “Do It For The Kids”
Keep Milton’s family and those nearest and dearest to his heart in your prayers!

Congrats to this Nash County native and Twin County HOF member.

We celebrate the life of our very own Inductee Coach Rederick (Reggie) Henderson who passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Reggie dedicated over 40 years of service to the city of Rocky Mount as an elite high school basketball coach, teacher, truant officer and molder of character. He coached Rocky Mount High School Gryphons to state 4A championships in 1978 and 1982 and runner up in 1981. Two of his players, Phil Ford and Buck Williams, turned pro while many others went on to play collegiately. https://www.rockymounttelegram.com/obits/obituaries/rederick-caswell-henderson/article_36e9e6b2-7ea5-5d91-8b75-184c5f7e233e.html
