This has never happened before to us. 3 different Civil War bullets under the same tree in the same hole. We’re thinking someone sat under the tree while making bullets and dropped these.

Once a year we try to help someone out in our community. We collect the junk scrap metal that we dig and find someone less fortunate than us so they can take it to the scrap yard of their choice and recycle it for cash.
Since we started doing this, we have given away 2,353 pounds of everything from nails to horse shoes and brass/copper to aluminum cans.

This was found in Hawkins County along the railroad tracks.
There was a blacksmith shop in the backyard of the old house. It appears to be a hand forged hammer made from a railroad spike.
