Plenty is going on behind the scenes at the museum, but all is not quiet there. HTTM is also being used for a Winter Bird Atlas location so see if you spot the frozen photographer as you drive by. Some of the resident species cataloged today are: American Tree Sparrow, Black-Capped Chickadee, White-Breasted Nuthatch, Red-Breasted Nuthatch (Rare!), Goldfinch, American Crow, House Finches, Hairy, downy and red-bellied Woodpeckers, Canadian Goose (flyover), Mourning Doves, Dark-Eyed Junco, Northern Cardinals, House Sparrows, Tufted Titmouse and one very opinionated Carolina Wren. - Julie
