This weekend is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Big Horn.
The Musselshell Valley Historical Museum has a small exhibit about the battle. The top of the display features a replica of the guidon that Custer used.
The guidon was designed and made by Elizabeth ( Libby) Custer. She had it delivered to Custer while he was in the Civil war. He adopted the guidon for his troops. The guidon fell at the battle of the Little Big Horn.
Come by the museum and see this replica of the guidon, who carried it and what happened to it.
Museum is open every day 1 to 5 pm.

Also Libby wrote books about Custer:
-Boots and Saddles: or, Life in Dakota with General Custer
-Tenting on the Plains or General Custer in Kansas and Texas
-Following the Guidon

June is the month of weddings. Come see our bride and groom and pictures of local weddings.
Museum is open seven days a week. It opens early the next two Saturdays for any shoppers at the Yard Sale. Come shop and then wish our happy couple congratulations.
