We had the end spot at the top of the Street..Great day Sunshine and Friendly talkative and complimentary people.It was quite a day, 10am-5pm Up at 5:30 to load up/ home by 7pm and in bed by 9!. What a day! :))

Give yourself or your guests a little something to gaze upon while they linger longer. These are all based on paintings I have done over the years and sold individually as a series of miniature studies to explore other possibilities of a theme. So to give them another chance at being seen I created a series of 4 Quadrant 12 x 12 framed prints that celebrate that idea.

If you have ever been near the water on a daily basis..especially off season....you will have realized that each day can be very different..The Ct shoreline is rather cramped for long vistas... Since the sandy portions of the shorelines along the East coast are very similar...Location does not really matter in a painting since the connection between the shore, people and their dogs is a universal experience.....Only the conditions change w/ the tide and weather ......Since we have beach rights here in Rowayton between Nov-01- March 31 The lure of the beach depending on the conditions brings out various residents with their canine companions...These are merely my personal interpretations set in wider venues to evoke that collective memory of people and their dogs along the shore.

I like to experiment with different treatments of the collected memories I have experienced. I usually do not work from reference since photos never truly capture the magic of a moment experienced....It needs to dazzle the senses and evoke an emotion in the viewers soul that likewise connects them to the same experience...
