Person County Historical Society, Inc Dedicated to the preservation of our local history, cemeteries and help with genealogy. These meetings are open to the public.

We are currently meeting at the Person County Senior Center Social Hall, 87 Semora Rd., Roxboro NC, on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. We welcome new members to come and help preserve our rich history here in Person County.

Join the Library of NC’s Government and Heritage Library and the State Archives of North Carolina on May 9th for a Community Scanning Day! Bring your family photographs, letters, and historical documents to be digitized for free with assistance from library and archives staff.
