Historic Rugby 1880s historic village founded by British colonists. Historic buildings, shops, lodging, hiking. Guests need to pay at the Visitor Center before the tour starts.

Tours are offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Eastern Standard Time
Sunday Tours are 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for Seniors (60 and older), $4.00 for Students (K-12), and no Admission for Pre-K and under. Tours leave from the Visitor Center Porch and go to 4 buildings: Kingstone Lisle, Chris

t Church, Hughes Library, and the 1907 School House. Tours last approximately 1 hour to 1 and 15 minutes. The inside of these buildings is only accessible through guided tours. The print shop is open for free tours Friday through Sunday. The commissary and art gallery are open Thursday through Sunday. Hiking trails are open. Welcome to Memorial Day! Rugby’s Visitor Centre is open today until 5 EDT with our returning Ranger, Lily Huckeby. Brian is offering tours too. Lily starts her 3rd spring with us and will normally be in the Big South Fork Visitor Station Saturdays 9 to 5 Eastern & Sundays noon to 5 through the summer. Stop in and say hello!

Gardeners, take note: We have an exciting new event coming to Rugby on Saturday, June 6th!

Join local expert Bob Washburn of Wolf River Valley Growers for a hands-on workshop exploring how to grow and use regional herbs. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to deepen your knowledge, it’s a relaxed, informative way to connect with plants and the people who love them.

Herbs will be available for purchase during the workshop, so you can take a little of what you’ve learned home with you.
