A Hot Air Balloon takes flight in Rushford, MN June 14th, 1904. The photo is taken looking east and the field in the foreground is where the Rushford Lutheran Church would be built and opened just a few years later, in 1907. The home in the picture is the current home at 100 E Rushford Ave.

The old Northwestern Hotel in Rushford, circa 1910. It was built in 1868 and stood on the northeast corner of Jessie St. and Elm St., where the Sterling Drug Pharmacy/Rushford Clinic parking lot is today in town. The picture is taken looking east down Jessie St. . The building was taken down in 1974.

Brooklyn Park in Rushford, circa 1910. The picture was taken looking west down Rushford Avenue and if you look closely enough you can see the old Brooklyn Bridge in the distance which was built in 1898 by the Chicago Bridge & Iron Company.
