Forget this dreary rainy Saturday for a moment and imagine a sunny Tuesday at New Hampshire's Seacoast, where over 140 Timberland employees gathered at Odiorne Point State Park for an inspiring day of service at Seacoast Science Center! The day was filled with energy, effort, and enthusiasm, thanks to these remarkable corporate volunteers who not only rolled up their sleeves to work, but also brought a photographer to capture the day’s magic! 💫
With our small staff at the Center, volunteer groups like this are essential as we prepare for the bustling warmer months ahead, both inside the Center and throughout the Park. We just wouldn't get to all the jobs on our own, and this amazing group achieved so much—they cleared debris around the Center and along the Park trails, landscaped and planted, dismantled and rebuilt the salt marsh shed, installed fencing along the shoreline, constructed a summer home for Raspberry the box turtle, sanded, stained, and painted various structures, removed non-native plants, marked native ones, spruced up the playground, and much more!
We’re deeply grateful for this BOLD group of volunteers, the incredible effort they contributed this week as part of the company’s Path of Service™ program, and their ongoing support of Seacoast Science Center! Sending all of you the biggest wave of thanks! 🌊 🫶
