"Dualities"- Paintings & porcelain by Shimo. Reception is happening right now at Pence Gallery in Davis. The exhibit is on view through Nov. 15. This is a collection of Shimo's signature water ink, recent porcelain and oil painting pieces.

A carefully selected collection of Shimo's paintings and porcelain work is currently on display at the Pence Gallery in Davis, CA.
Show dates: Sept. 30 - Nov. 15
Reception: Oct. 13, 6 - 9 pm

By popular demand, Shimo will be holding a mini lecture/workshop session on Oct. 14, 1 - 4 pm at the Pence. The event is free, so please register by Oct. 12! Shimo will be demonstrating his unique style of painting technique followed by a hands-on group lesson for participants to learn and practice with him.

Installation complete for upcoming show "Trade Wind" by Sarah Flohr. "The path of painting is narrow but its destinations are wide and expansive."
