My grandfather, Wayne Thiebaud, is the well-known painter and educator. My grandmother, Betty Jean Thiebaud, spent many years as a filmmaker and teacher. My dad, Matt Bult, is a local painter, and my mom, Maria Bult, co-ch
aired the art docent program at my elementary school. I am also very influenced by the career and life of my late uncle, Paul Thiebaud, the gallery owner, art dealer and collector. I hope to emulate his spirit for life and his passion for promoting and pursuing great art. I intend the gallery to reflect my personal style and aesthetic. I hope to provide a showcase for emerging, mid-career and late career artists. I will also present “not for sale” exhibits of an educational nature, as well as hold benefits and other public events. I believe the increasingly active Sacramento art and cultural scene is a vibrant one. I hope to make a lasting and significant contribution to our art community.
