The Brickhouse Gallery & Art Complex is excited to bring poetry to the Historic Oak Park Community for the past five years. Our Story

The Brickhouse Gallery & Art Complex is excited to bring poetry to the Historic Oak Park community for the past five year. Every 2nd Saturday of each month, the gallery invites a "Guest Host" & a "Feature" for Spoken Word & Open Mic. We’ve hosted slams, held poetry readings, recitals, poetry book signings, and held poetry performance events for some of the most profound poets around.

We are honored to be a part of the Sacramento Poetry community. It's rich; always with some flavor; and more importantly, it's the creative voice that gives voice, to and for our communities that sometimes are without a voice! ALL POETS ARE WELCOME HERE!
