When you head to our second level to see Echoes of Nature: 200 Years of Japanese Printmaking, be sure to linger through the newly opened Saginaw Gallery and reimagined American Landscape Gallery. We're grateful to have a collection that can educate and inspire. Doors for the opening tonight are at 5:30pm with a short curatorial talk at 6:15pm.

TOMORROW, October 7, is a big day at the museum. We're excited to host the opening of Echoes of Nature: 200 Years of Japanese Printmaking as well as present a reimagined American Landscape Gallery and The Saginaw Gallery on our second level. Plan on bringing a friend!
5:30pm Exhibition opening with origami and traditional ceramics demonstrations
6:15pm Brief curatorial remarks.

This Saturday, we’re hosting our very first My First Art Museum Day at the Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens! We believe the museum is a place for everyone in our community—including our youngest visitors. We’ve planned a morning of art, stories, exploration, and hands-on activities designed especially for little ones and their families. Come explore the museum together, make some art, and help create your child’s first museum memories.

Gather your team of four for Puzzles & Potions on Saturday, October 31. Race against other teams to complete a jigsaw puzzle featuring an artwork from the Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens collection. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams, and every team takes its puzzle home.

Enjoy mysterious “potions,” festive pastries, and Halloween treats while you puzzle. Costumes are encouraged. Doors open at 9:30 AM, and the competition runs from 10 AM-12 PM.

One $60 ticket registers a team of four. Registration is required, space is limited, and refunds are unavailable.
