Something really special is happening for the dogs…

One of our incredibly talented supporters has generously created 15 hand-drawn portraits of dogs in our rescue, and we’re auctioning them off to help raise funds for the pups! ❤️🐶

Each portrait is one-of-a-kind, featuring a dog from our rescue. Every dollar raised goes directly toward vet care, food, and saving more dogs who desperately need help.

HOW THE AUCTION WORKS:
• We will post 15 portraits in the comments (numbered #1–15)
• Starting bid: $25
• Comment your bid under the portrait you want
• Highest bid wins
• Buy It Now: $100 (automatically wins that portrait)

Need a beautiful Mother’s Day gift? Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 9 am - 2 pm as we celebrate mothers and crafting! The Nokomis Elements of Crafting class will be hosting a Mother’s Day Crafting and Market event in the Nokomis gym. There will be local artisans, student crafters & groups, and a variety of craft activities, some at a small cost. Entry is by donation, and the proceeds will be used to fund backpacks filled with activities and necessities for area children that will be distributed at local libraries and food pantries. Local artists and artisans include Johanna Sorensen, Rylee’s Rounds, Mini Me Meltables, Candy Crunch Freeze Dried Candy, Court’s Creations, and many more!

Taking orders on handpainted piggy banks. $35-45 depending on difficulty of design. These 2 are spoken for but I have 2 more coming in the mail to replace the 2 that broke in shipping.

Painting some little ornaments while I wait on the larger size for orders. The sun was making it hard to photograoh but these two are painted with a layered scene on the back and partial scene on front. It makes for a cool affect but are tricky to paint as layering paint on glass likes to peel the first coat! So far so good plus I found another use for my key hooks! 😎

I haven't been doing much in the studio lately but am starting to get back to it. Life can get so busy!

Right now I'm taking orders for ornaments -glass or plastic this year. Hand painted! They make great gifts and both plastic and glass look great painted! Here are some from past years that I have done. Price is $10-20 depending on how complicated/time consuming the design though most shown are in the $10-15 range and I will give you a price when ordered. A few portraits and pets have taken much more time.
