Time is running out for the great deal, while you will be able to join us on this trip until the ship is sold out. The pricing shown is only good until the end of the month. Not sure what next month will bring.

Last year in January we had a great group go on a Viking Cruise in the Mediterranean Sea. Looking at getting a group together again in January of 2027! Right now the price per couple with air is coming in at about $7000. That is cruise, air, drinks at meal, and an excursion at each port. Have you wanted to see the Amalfi Coast? How about walking in Africa? We would love you to join us.

On the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond

I remember this song from my childhood but we did indeed take the high road leaving Glasgow traveling the highlands to Inverness. It was a rainy Tuesday, but still very beautiful country. We visited several Lochs, including Lomond and Ness, however we didn’t see the monster at least not outside the gift shops.
After checking into our Inverness hotel for a short break we made our way to the Clava Cairns which is an about 4,000 years old area built to house the dead.The sites contain a range of prehistoric burial monuments and the remains of a medieval chapel. Including the rock graves and stone rings similar to Stonehenge. This area has become more famous since it was used in Outlander as the location where Claire time travels. Our nest stop was the oldest tavern in Inverness, Clachnaharry Inn for a pint with the locals, then back to the hotel for a group dinner.

We landed in Glasgow Scotland for a Globus tour of the country. This is are first tour with them and so far we are very impressed. Once we checked into our wonderful hotel with a great location we went out exploring. Later in the day we met our tour mates and guide over drinks and dinner.
The next morning we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast after which we boarded the Globus bus for a short ride to visit the Stirling Castle which is perched atop a volcanic crag, it is one of Scotland’s largest and most historically significant castles, acting as a crucial royal residence and fortress for centuries. Primarily built between the 15th and 16th centuries, it was a favourite home of the Stewart monarchs and the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots. Inside the castle we had the most delightful tour guide and then spent a more time exploring in-depth the grounds.
Back in town we found a wonderful pub for some food and drinks. Afterwords we walked to some of the local sites in the Scottish rain and back to the hotel exhausted.

Japan is a magnificent collection of colors, gardens and mountains. We would love to share the details of our remarkable trip with you. The culture is very special with friendly people, clean streets and even with the language barrier it was easy to get around. This is just a few of the amazing sights we experienced.

Yesterday we left Japan, it was an amazing place to visit. I plan on doing two posts to share our past several days. This first post will focus on the two cities made famous by their history. Hiroshima and Nagasaki have both embraced the past and moved forward to rebuild the cities while honoring their history. I will share two different but impactful parks that both honor those who died, while hoping for world peace.

Humbling and reflective: Both cities provide a profound and humbling experience that emphasizes the human cost of war and the importance of peace.
A powerful learning experience: For many, visiting these cities provides a deeper understanding of the horrors of nuclear war that cannot be fully conveyed through history books alone

Time is running short to book your place on this amazing trip to Ireland. If you would love to go to Ireland but not confident to travel on your own, this trip is for you. The bus will pick you up at a meeting place in Wausau and drive you to the airport in Minneapolis, you will board your direct flight to Dublin and after the trip be delivered back to your car in Wausau. The best part is Pat and Patrice Pergolski will be traveling with you every step of the way!

We have several couples, friends, and mother daughter groups already sighed up and would love for you to join us.

We have had an amazing 6 days in Tokyo and Kyoto Japan. Traveling is always an adventure and these last 6 days have certainly been that. We have learned how to navigate the Tokyo metro and the High Speed Train. But the memories we have made and the experience we have had will last a lifetime. When you travel to distant lands you need to do so with open minds and embrace the adventure. Understanding that getting lost will be a great story to tell. Japan has been a wonderful country with colors and experiences that we would love to share.
