✨ Meet Crystal Orlando at Perspectives ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome award-winning artist Crystal Orlando to Perspectives on Saturday, June 13, from 1–4 PM.

Crystal will be on hand for a live drawing demonstration, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the skill, patience, and artistry that go into her remarkable work.

Adding to an already exciting year, Crystal has recently been named a 2027 Young Gun by the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale, one of the most prestigious honors recognizing emerging talent in Western art.

Known for her expressive drawings and paintings that capture the spirit, strength, and beauty of the American West, Crystal’s work continues to earn attention from collectors and major exhibitions across the country.

Join us for an afternoon of art, demonstrations, and conversation with one of the rising stars in Western art.

We’re thrilled to introduce Wichita Falls artist Larry Hamilton and his striking realist oil paintings to Davis & Blevins Gallery.

A contemporary realist painter, Larry Hamilton creates thoughtful works that explore the evolution of technology and the quiet stories left behind in its wake. His paintings feature worn, forgotten, and obsolete objects — relics of another era that once played important roles in everyday life.

Rather than treating these items as discarded artifacts, Hamilton paints them as portraits, honoring both their history and the human ingenuity they represent. Rusted tools, outdated machines, and timeworn objects become powerful visual narratives filled with memory, nostalgia, and personal connection.

Hamilton earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Midwestern State University in 1978 and later completed his All-Level Art Certification there in 1999. After a 30-year business career and 15 years teaching art, he retired in 2013 to pursue painting full time.

His work invites viewers to reflect on changing times, innovation, and the personal histories hidden within the objects we leave behind.
