Today made me step back and rethink a certain thick skinned elder client that I wasn’t sure even had a heart in there. But after sitting down at her table and her opening up to Elizabeth and I…..about her life growing up with no Dad from the time she was tiny, to having 5 children to raising them and now scattered all over the country, to fighting thru emotions of cancer that nearly took her youngest son, to finally being able to adopt a puppy when she was 63 years old….all of which revealed such a beautiful kind heart hidden in armor to protect that softness that she obviously doesn’t like anyone to see! She gave us both big hugs at the end and asked us to PLEASE come back SOON to visit again. She’s in her late 80’s and is in the beginning stages of dementia, yet so so sharp still. It just shows me that no matter what…..don’t judge a person by the tough exterior! There’s something BEAUTIFUL inside ALL of us if just given the chance to let that out…..❤️🙏❤️ly

I’m very excited to announce that our House of David Baseball & Historical Museum has made it this years State of Michigan’s sponsored book of “Weird, Wonderful and Obscure” places to visit!!! And in April 11th between 4-6pm the renowned Author Amy will be at the museum to meet, tell her story and sign books!!! Please drop in and see why she was picked to lead this effort annually with such a FUN filled collection of attractions across Michigan!!

UPDATE…..Part 2 starts TONIGHT @ 9pm!!!

I’ve gotta say I’m pinching myself to make sure this isn’t some wild dream of mine, but it’s REALLY TRUE……starting TODAY April 1st at 9pm and EVERY Monday evening in April, PBS will be airing FOUR straight one hour segments of the last two House of David movies that we’ve made!!! They will be shown immediately after Antique Roadshow!! This has been a dream of mine for 3 decades…..to create a TV series similar to the series we all watched growing up and I’ve always known the story of the House of David was sooooo worthy of the same, yet even more!! So here it begins!!! PBS has asked us to continue creating these films and they will continue sharing them!!! I hope you’ll ENJOY every show!! 👏🎉👏❤️
