Join MoWest nursing students and faculty on the rooftop at 11:30 am for an interactive, kid-friendly workshop promoting summer safety topics through games, activities, and hands-on learning.

Through superhero-themed games, storytelling, and hands-on activities, children will discovery how healthy choices, safe behaviors, teamwork, and physical activity help them become “Summer Safety Superheroes” in their homes and communities.

💧Water safety station: Children will get a passport and watch a short video about safety before going out on the rooftop to participate in a game/obstacle course that reinforces the use of water safety devices.

Sun safety station: Children will make sun safety shields, play “hot or not”, and other activities.

Children who complete both stations will turn in their passport for a take-home cup of superhero safety items! 🦸🏽🦸‍♀️
