German Methodist College (St Paul's College) was built around 1889. It sat on the corner of Lincoln Ave and 11th Ave in St Park. The school closed in 1917/1918. In Nov of 1917 it was offered to the Church of God Old People's Home, after the home burned. In June of 1918 it was officially bought for the home . The home was closed in 1925. The college stood empty, it went up for sale in 1928. The ad that was ran in the Star Tribune March 25, 1928 paints a small picture of what stood on the block between Lincoln Ave, 11th Ave, 10th Ave and Dayton Ave.

Come join us on December 13 at St Paul Park City Hall at 10 o'clock for our annual Meeting and Pot Luck Christmas Brunch. Bring a dish to share, and memories of Christmas past.
There will be a short meeting at the start, learn about what the future holds for the society, then a veterans discussion about the Vietnam War in 1975, and Christmas memories.
