Inspired by his first trip to Seattle, Cho captures fragments of American life through his own eyes—buildings, cars, power lines, and city streets become part of a hidden world within the glass.

The Art of Color and Pattern | David Patchen

In the hands of glass artist David Patchen, color becomes an intricate language of pattern, movement and depth.

Using techniques such as murrine and zanfirico cane, David brings together countless threads and elements of colored glass, transforming them into compositions that reveal new details the longer you look.

Meet Frederick Kahl, aka The Great Fredini, a multidisciplinary artist blending magic, technology, and glass.

His Star Meditation Lamp combines centrifugally cast glass, sacred geometry, and 305 LEDs to create an ever-shifting, aurora-like display.

Drawing on curiosity, wonder, and transformation, Kahl turns light and glass into an immersive experience that invites contemplation and connection.

What better place to discover Paradise Found than right here in the Tampa Bay area?

Duncan McClellan’s blown-glass sculptures, inspired by the natural beauty of the gardens surrounding his St. Petersburg studio, are featured in this exhibition at Sightline Gallery inside St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport.

Presented by Creative Pinellas, Paradise Found also features painter Carrie Jadus, whose Florida Girl series celebrates Florida’s native flora and fauna through imaginative, surrealist portraits.

Whether you’re arriving, departing, or simply passing through, take a moment to experience the creativity of our local arts community. Then, visit Duncan’s and Carrie’s studios to discover even more of their work!

Inspired by the quiet beauty and movement of nature, ceramic artist Jennifer McCurdy transforms porcelain into forms that feel both delicate and enduring. ✨

Working from Martha’s Vineyard, Jennifer has spent more than 25 years exploring the possibilities of porcelain, pushing the boundaries of how thin it can be, how much it can be carved, and how movement can be captured in a material made permanent by fire.

Through intricate carving, directional firings, and the interplay of light and shadow, her sculptures reflect the organic patterns found in nature. Some pieces are further illuminated with 23-karat gold leaf, creating an unexpected glow and adding yet another dimension to the form.

Rooted in Murano’s rich glassmaking tradition, Pietro and Riccardo Ferro have spent decades working alongside some of the most respected names in contemporary glass.
Founded in 2000, their grinding studio, guided by the legacy of their father, Paolo Ferro, has collaborated with renowned artists including Lino Tagliapietra, Pino Signoretto, Massimo Micheluzzi, and Philip Baldwin and Monica Guggisberg, as well as historic Murano glasshouses such as Venini, Barovier & Toso, and Seguso.

Drawing on years of experience and craftsmanship, the Ferro brothers now create their own vases and sculptures, bringing a modern, innovative perspective to the art of glass.
