Menstrual Hygiene Day takes place every year on May 28 and has grown into a massive global movement over the past 10 years.

Our joint mission: Together for a

“Together” is crucial.

No one can solve the menstruation-related challenges women and girls face alone. But together, we can.

The UK just appointed its first-ever Maternity Advisor to help champion safer care for mothers, babies and families, and it made us wonder who’s asking American mothers what happened after they went home.

Because too many of us left the hospital bleeding, leaking, stitched, swollen, healing and responsible for a newborn—only to be told we’d be seen in six weeks.

Maybe.

For so many mothers, it was already bad. We were just told it was part of it.

What do you wish someone had asked you postpartum?
